The main character in the ex-libris is a naked girl. They are thoughtful, dreamy, shy and romantic. Some are brave and stubborn but still charming women. Around them they create a whole world consisting of symbols, signs, animals, birds and flowers. The subtle romance of each bookplate attracts its elaboration and detail. All bookplates are made in the technique of color etching and each print is individually painted with watercolor or watercolor pencils, which complements every single work and makes each print original. In many ex-libris there is an image of an open cage and a bird that virled from it – it symbolizes the freedom and impermanence of the female nature, the love of human freedom in general. The image of the clock symbolizes the transience of time and the fragility of everything – youth, beauty, live.
